I wonder if I am doing something wrong or if this just doesn't work for me... I took two about an hr before laying down and I felt less sleepy than usual, next night I tried 3 and hour before bed and couldn't sleep either. Any help welcome

Are you taking them and laying down or are you staying active?
Personally if you are going to take them and then continue being active and not in a rested position than they most likely are not going to kick in like a sedative would.\
Try taking them and then relaxing with limited stimulation?

the first night i took while laying on my recliner watching tv, second night i layed in bed right after taking them
Could be a lot of things. Bear in mind Need2sleep is a pretty gentle sleep aid and it won't be effective against more significant issues.
Couple of simple possibilities. Do you consume Caffeine or any other ergogenics in any form within 7 hours of bedtime? Do you have chronically jacked cortisol levels? If the latter I recall that either need2 or Lartinos have a product that's supposed to lower cort. It's marketed as a diet supp IIRC. Another solution might be dry sauna. I find that when I dry sauna (as opposed to a steam room) I sleep much better that night. Never fails. Hard lifting definitely puts a lot of waste products in the body from the tissue breakdown that can overload the liver and kidneys a bit.
I've found some products affect others differently. A few of my family members can take tylenol pm and go out cold. Myself, a year ago it'd take a few mgs of Xanax before I could sleep normal. I've been off Xanax over a year now so I don't know where I stand.

i cant never sleep before 1am- so 3 generic kroger 25mg tabs help put me out pretty good..recommeded dose is two, but being over 200lbs i think im ok with 3..id rather not take them, but i need to sleep once in a while, lol...
